Our Story

The Swami Samarth Foundation Special Learning Center was born from a mother’s heart rather than a blueprint. What began in a small one-room kitchen on 2 August 2021 has grown into a nurturing, independent center supporting children with autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy.

Our story is inseparable from the journey of our founder, Mrs. Vidula Sushil Sarfare, a woman whose compassion and conviction shaped an entire community. Her early exposure to the world of special education deeply moved her—the innocence, vulnerability, and uncertain futures of special children awakened a calling she could not ignore. Guided by empathy and urged on by parents who trusted her, she transformed her passion into a mission.

Through years of dedication, the center evolved into a safe and joyful sanctuary where every child is seen, supported, and celebrated. From therapy sessions and life-skills training to cultural programs, sports, and creative exhibitions, the center empowers children to grow with confidence, independence, and dignity.

What started as one woman’s quiet dream is now a thriving institution shaping the lives of 35 special children, earning trust, recognition, and love from families and the wider community.
